Mark Reckless MP was happy to welcome students from Medway to Parliament today.
Mark arranged for members of Medway Youth Parliament to have a tour of the Palace of Westminster and a question and answer session, which resulted in some interesting questions on topics such as the education maintenance allowance and Medway’s bid for city status.
“I find it so positive that the young people of Medway are so articulately represented. The students were impeccably behaved during the q+a session and asked some very interesting and important questions.
Whilst the voting age is 18, I very much encourage young people to become aware of, and involved in, the political process. The young people I met today are a credit to Medway”.
